Description
RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Western Railway (NWR), Jaipur has invited online applications for Act Apprentice training for the year 2026-27 under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment is being conducted through Engagement of Apprentices Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) for a total of 2,008 training slots across various divisions, workshops and units of North Western Railway. Eligible candidates who have passed Class 10 with at least 50% marks and possess the required ITI qualification in the relevant trade can apply online for the RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026. The online application process starts on 07 October 2026 and the last date to submit the application is 06 November 2026 up to 11:59 PM.
Eligibility
## RRC NWR Apprentice Eligibility 2026 ### Educational Qualification Candidates must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of **50% marks in aggregate** from a recognized Board. Candidates must also possess a **National Trade Certificate (NTC)** in the relevant notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT. ### Age Limit The candidate must have completed **15 years** of age and should not have completed **24 years** as on 06 November 2026. ### Age Relaxation - SC/ST: 5 years - OBC: 3 years - PwBD: 10 years - Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable rules mentioned in the official notification Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible to apply. Candidates must possess the required educational and technical qualification on the date of submission of the application.
Selection Process
RRC NWR Apprentice Selection Process 2026 The selection of candidates for RRC NWR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will be based on merit. Selection Stages 1. Merit List 2. Document Verification 3. Medical Examination The merit list will be prepared using the simple average of marks obtained in Class 10/Matriculation and ITI in the relevant trade. The merit list will be prepared division/unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise according to the available training slots. There is no written examination for this Apprentice recruitment. Shortlisted candidates will have to produce their original documents and the prescribed medical certificate during the subsequent stages.
Qualification
- 10th Pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board under the 10+2 system. Candidates must also possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the relevant notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT). No rounding off of marks will be allowed for the minimum 50% requirement.
