Description
The Azim Premji Foundation has invited online applications for the Azim Premji Scholarship 2026-27 for eligible girl students pursuing higher education. Under this scholarship programme, shortlisted students will receive ₹30,000 per year for the full duration of their first eligible undergraduate degree or diploma course, subject to the applicable scholarship conditions. The Azim Premji Scholarship 2026-27 application form is available online from 10 August 2026 to 31 August 2026. Eligible students who have completed Class 10 and Class 12 as regular students from government schools or colleges in the specified states/UTs and have taken admission to the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course can apply. The scholarship is designed to help reduce financial barriers to higher education for girl students. The Foundation states that the scholarship is not based on academic merit, caste, income or religion, provided the applicant meets the prescribed eligibility conditions. Azim Premji Scholarship Amount 2026 Selected students will receive: ₹30,000 per year The scholarship can continue for the full duration of the eligible first undergraduate degree or diploma programme, which may range from 2 to 5 years. Therefore, eligible students may receive financial support of up to ₹1.5 lakh over the duration of a five-year programme, subject to the scholarship's renewal and continuation requirements.
Eligibility
Azim Premji Scholarship 2026 Eligibility To apply for the Azim Premji Scholarship 2026-27, candidates must meet the following conditions: 1. Applicant must be a girl student. 2. She must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student. 3. Class 10 and Class 12 should have been completed from a government school or college in one of the eligible states/UTs. 4. The applicant must have taken admission in the first year of a recognised undergraduate degree or diploma course for the 2026-27 academic session. 6. The course must be a regular programme with a duration of 2 to 5 years. 7. The course may be pursued at a government or credible private college/university anywhere in India. 8. It should be the applicant's first undergraduate degree or diploma Eligible States and Union Territories For the Azim Premji Scholarship 2026-27, eligible applicants can belong to the following states/UT: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi (NCT), Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Qualification
