Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has invited online applications for the recruitment of Mining Sirdar (T&S Grade-C) and Assistant Foreman (Trainee) / Electrical Supervisor (T&S Grade-C) posts. A total of 444 vacancies have been announced for eligible candidates. The online application process started on 20 July 2026 and will remain open until 10 August 2026. Eligibility
Age Limit (As on 10 August 2026) Minimum Age: 18 Years Maximum Age: 30 Years Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per Government of India and WCL recruitment rules. Educational Qualification Mining Sirdar (T&S Grade-C) Candidates must possess any one of the following: Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate with 3 years of underground mining experience, OR Diploma in Mining Engineering with a valid DGMS Overman Competency Certificate. Additionally, candidates must hold: Valid Gas Testing Certificate Valid First Aid Certificate Assistant Foreman (Electrical) Candidates must have: Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute. Valid Electrical Supervisory Certificate for Mines issued by the competent authority.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on: Computer Based Test (CBT) Document Verification Medical Examination
Qualification
- Mining Sirdar: Mining Sirdar Certificate or Diploma in Mining Engineering with required DGMS certification. Assistant Foreman: 3-Year Diploma in Electrical Engineering + Electrical Supervisory Certificate.
