Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the SSC CPO SI CAPF Recruitment 2026 for the post of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), including Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF. A total of 1,871 tentative vacancies are available under this recruitment drive. The SSC CPO SI online application process has started on 10 September 2026, and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official SSC website until 30 September 2026. The last date for online fee payment is 1 October 2026, while the application correction window will be available from 8 October to 10 October 2026. Eligibility
**Educational Qualification** * **SI (Executive) in Delhi Police and SI (GD) in CAPFs:** Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification. * **Delhi Police SI – Male:** In addition to the bachelor's degree, male candidates applying for SI (Executive) in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV driving licence for motorcycle and car by the prescribed stage of recruitment. * **SI (Fire) in CISF – Male:** Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualification, including either a Bachelor's Degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects or the specified three-year diploma qualification in an eligible engineering discipline after Class 10. Candidates should refer to the official SSC notification for the complete post-wise qualification and licence requirements. Age Limit Age Limit as on 01 August 2026: Most SSC CPO SI Posts: 20–25 Years SI (Fire) in CISF: 18–30 Years Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Government rules.
Selection Process
