The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Technician Exam Date 2026 for candidates who applied under CEN 02/2026. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts is scheduled to be conducted from 06 October to 09 October 2026. A total of 6,557 Technician vacancies are included in this recruitment, comprising 323 Technician Grade-I Signal posts and 6,234 Technician Grade-III posts. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications can check the latest information regarding the RRB Technician Exam Schedule 2026, Exam City Intimation Slip and Admit Card through the official RRB websites. Eligibility
Technician Grade-I Signal: Candidates must possess the prescribed B.Sc. qualification in relevant subjects such as Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or Instrumentation, or a relevant Engineering Diploma/Degree, as specified in the official notification. Technician Grade-III: Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation/SSLC along with ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institution/NCVT/SCVT or possess the prescribed Act Apprenticeship qualification. Age Limit as on 01 July 2026: - Technician Grade-I Signal: 18–33 years - Technician Grade-III: 18–30 years Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Railway rules.
