The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Technician Exam Date 2026 for candidates who applied under CEN 02/2026. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts is scheduled to be conducted from 06 October to 09 October 2026. A total of 6,557 Technician vacancies are included in this recruitment, comprising 323 Technician Grade-I Signal posts and 6,234 Technician Grade-III posts. Eligibility

Technician Grade-I Signal: Candidates must possess the prescribed B.Sc. qualification in relevant subjects such as Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT or Instrumentation, or a relevant Engineering Diploma/Degree, as specified in the official notification. Technician Grade-III: Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation/SSLC along with ITI in the relevant trade from a recognized institution/NCVT/SCVT or possess the prescribed Act Apprenticeship qualification. Age Limit as on 01 July 2026: - Technician Grade-I Signal: 18–33 years - Technician Grade-III: 18–30 years Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Railway rules.
