Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB Technician Exam City and Date Intimation Slip 2026 for candidates appearing under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 02/2026. The recruitment is being conducted for Technician Grade-I Signal and various Technician Grade-III categories, with a total of 6,557 vacancies. The RRB Technician CBT 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 06 October 2026 to 09 October 2026. The RRB Technician Exam City Details 2026 were made available from 27 September 2026. Candidates can check their allotted examination city and examination date by logging in through the official RRB candidate portal using their registration credentials. Eligibility
RRB Technician Grade-I Signal: Candidates must possess the prescribed educational or technical qualification specified for Technician Grade-I Signal under CEN 02/2026. Depending on the notified discipline, eligible qualifications include relevant B.Sc., B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma-level technical qualifications in the specified streams. RRB Technician Grade-III: Candidates must have the required educational and technical qualification prescribed for the particular Technician Grade-III trade. Generally, the qualification includes Class 10th/Matriculation along with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from a recognized institution, subject to the post-wise requirements mentioned in the official notification. Age Limit: Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 33 years as on 01 July 2026. Technician Grade-III: 18 to 30 years as on 01 July 2026. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories as per Railway Recruitment Board rules. Selection Process
