Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the examination schedule for the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Examination 2026. The SSC Stenographer Computer Based Examination is scheduled to be conducted from 09 September to 12 September 2026. The online application process started on 24 April 2026 and the last date to submit the application form was 15 May 2026. Candidates who successfully completed their applications can check the examination schedule through the official SSC website. Candidates should keep checking the SSC portal for exam city information and the Stenographer Grade C & D Admit Card 2026. The admit card will be issued separately before the examination.
Eligibility
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. For Stenographer Grade C, the required transcription time is 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi. For Stenographer Grade D, the required transcription time is 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi. Age Limit as on 01 August 2026: Minimum Age: 18 Years Grade D Maximum Age: 27 Years Grade C Maximum Age: 30 Years Age relaxation will be applicable as per SSC recruitment rules.
