Eligibility

For the original Constable Driver recruitment, candidates were required to satisfy the prescribed educational and driving requirements. Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Senior Secondary or equivalent from a recognized Board. Candidate should be able to drive heavy vehicles confidently. Candidate should possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence on the closing date of application. Candidate should have knowledge of vehicle maintenance. A learner's licence was not accepted. The prescribed age limit was 21 to 30 years as on 01 July 2025, subject to applicable age relaxation.

Selection Process

The selection process for Constable Driver includes: Computer Based Examination (CBE) Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) Document Verification (DV) Trade Test Medical Examination The PE&MT is qualifying in nature. Candidates who qualify the physical stage are called for the Trade Test and further stages as per the recruitment rules.
