Railway RRB Technician Exam Date 2026 has been announced for candidates who applied for the Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III recruitment under Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026. Railway Recruitment Boards are conducting this recruitment for a total of 6,557 Technician vacancies across different Railway zones and production units. As per the latest examination update, the RRB Technician CBT 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 06 October 2026 to 09 October 2026. Candidates who successfully completed their online application should keep checking the official RRB websites for their Exam City Intimation Slip and RRB Technician Admit Card 2026. The RRB Technician recruitment includes 323 vacancies for Technician Grade-I Signal and 6,234 vacancies for Technician Grade-III. The detailed recruitment notification provides post-wise, railway-wise and category-wise vacancy information. The RRB Technician Admit Card 2026 will be issued before the Computer Based Test. Candidates should download their e-Call Letter as soon as it becomes available and check the examination date, shift, reporting time, examination centre and other instructions carefully. HOW TO DOWNLOAD RRB TECHNICIAN ADMIT CARD 2026 Visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board. Open the RRB Technician CEN 02/2026 recruitment section. Look for the link titled "RRB Technician Admit Card 2026" or "E-Call Letter". Select the appropriate RRB regional website if required. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth or Password. Submit the login details. Your RRB Technician Admit Card 2026 will appear on the screen. Check your name, roll number, photograph, examination date, shift, reporting time and examination centre. Download the e-Call Letter and save it for future reference. Take a clear printout and carry it to the examination centre along with the required original photo identity proof.
Eligibility
TECHNICIAN GRADE-I SIGNAL Candidates applying for Technician Grade-I Signal must possess the prescribed educational or technical qualification mentioned in CEN 02/2026. Depending on the eligibility route, the required qualification includes relevant B.Sc., Diploma or Degree in Engineering/Technology in the prescribed disciplines. Age Limit: 18 to 33 Years as on 01 July 2026. TECHNICIAN GRADE-III Candidates applying for Technician Grade-III posts must generally have passed Matriculation / Class 10th along with the prescribed ITI qualification in the relevant trade from a recognized institution, as specified for the particular Technician category. Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as on 01 July 2026. Candidates should check the post-wise parameters in the official CEN 02/2026 notification because educational and technical qualifications differ between Technician categories. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible reserved categories according to the Railway Recruitment Board rules.
