UPSC IAS & IFS Prelims Result 2026

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Civil Services Examination (CSE) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) Preliminary Result 2026. Candidates who appeared in the UPSC Prelims examination conducted on 24 May 2026 can now check their qualifying status online. Qualified candidates will be eligible to participate in the next stage of the recruitment process as per UPSC guidelines. The UPSC Civil Services (IAS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS) Preliminary Examination Result 2026 has been officially released. Candidates can download the result PDF and verify their roll numbers through the official UPSC website. This recruitment drive includes 933 vacancies under Civil Services Examination and 80 vacancies under Indian Forest Service Examination. Candidates shortlisted in the Preliminary Examination should prepare for the Main Examination and keep checking official announcements regarding future stages. Eligibility

Civil Services Examination (CSE): Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Indian Forest Service (IFS): Bachelor's Degree with at least one of the following subjects: Agriculture Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science Botany Chemistry Forestry Geology Mathematics Physics Statistics Zoology or equivalent qualification.
