The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 E-Certificate for candidates who qualified in the UGC National Eligibility Test June 2026 examination. The certificate has been made available online on 24 September 2026. Candidates who qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor and/or Ph.D. admission can download their UGC NET June 2026 e-Certificate through the official NTA certificate portal. The UGC NET certificate is an important document that serves as proof of the candidate's qualifying status in the examination. Candidates should download the digital certificate and keep it safely for future academic, research, teaching and document-verification requirements. Current reports confirm that the June 2026 e-Certificates are available online for qualified candidates. Important Note � The UGC NET June 2026 E-Certificate is issued to candidates who qualify under the applicable UGC NET result criteria. Downloading the certificate does not itself constitute appointment as an Assistant Professor or award of a research position. Candidates should use the official NTA UGC NET portal and certificate portal for downloading their certificate and for any correction or verification-related request.
Eligibility
For UGC NET June 2026, candidates seeking eligibility for JRF and/or Assistant Professor generally need a Master's degree or equivalent qualification with the prescribed minimum marks in the relevant subject. Candidates belonging to reserved categories receive applicable relaxation in the minimum marks requirement as per UGC/NET rules. Candidates with a four-year Bachelor's degree may also be eligible for certain UGC NET purposes, subject to the conditions prescribed in the official Information Bulletin. For JRF, the applicable age limit and relaxation rules prescribed by NTA/UGC must be followed. There is generally no upper age limit for Assistant Professor eligibility.
