The Bihar Vidhan Parishad (Bihar Legislative Council) has announced the LDC Pre / PA Final Result 2026 for candidates who appeared in the recruitment examination for Personal Assistant (PA), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Stenographer posts. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 02/2025 for a total of 64 vacancies. The recruitment application process began on 28 November 2025, while the extended last date for submitting the online application was 05 January 2026. The recruitment examinations were conducted in different phases according to the post. Candidates can now check the latest result status through the official Bihar Vidhan Parishad portal. The PA and Stenographer preliminary examination was followed by a Phase-II examination, while the DEO examination was conducted separately. The final result has now been made available on 13 August 2026. Candidates who participated in the selection process should check the result carefully and verify their roll number or other required details. To check the result, visit the official Bihar Vidhan Parishad website and open the Recruitment / Result section. Select the relevant result link and enter the required login information, such as Registration Number/Roll Number, Date of Birth or Password and Captcha, wherever applicable. Eligibility
Personal Assistant: Graduation with Hindi shorthand speed of 100 words per minute and Hindi/English typing speed of 30 words per minute. A recognized computer qualification such as O Level or equivalent is desirable. Data Entry Operator: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent qualification with a typing/data-entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour. A recognized computer certificate is desirable. Lower Division Clerk: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Hindi/English typing speed of 30 words per minute. A recognized computer qualification is desirable. Stenographer: Graduation with Hindi shorthand speed of 80 words per minute and Hindi/English typing speed of 30 words per minute. A recognized computer certificate is desirable. Age Limit As per the recruitment details: DEO/LDC: Minimum 18 Years PA/Stenographer: Minimum 21 Years General/EWS Male: Maximum 37 Years General/EWS Female: Maximum 40 Years BC/EBC Male & Female: Maximum 40 Years SC/ST Male & Female: Maximum 42 Years Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Vidhan Parishad rules.
