Short Description The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invited online applications for 6,777 Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act. Eligibility
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions: Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Must possess a valid ITI Certificate in the relevant trade issued by an NCVT or SCVT recognized institute. Candidates applying for the Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) trade should upload Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. Applicants must fulfill all eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification before submitting the application. Age Limit (As on 19 August 2026) Minimum Age: 15 Years Maximum Age: 24 Years Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per Government of India and Railway recruitment rules.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on: Preparation of Merit List based on academic performance. Document Verification. Medical Fitness Examination. Final Selection.
