The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the UGC NET June Examination 2026 for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in various subjects. The examination was held from 22 June to 30 June 2026, and the answer key will be made available through the official UGC NET portal. Candidates can use the answer key to match their recorded responses with the answers provided by NTA and get an estimated idea of their examination performance. To access the answer key, candidates need to visit the official portal and enter their Application Number along with their Date of Birth or Password and the required security details. If NTA provides an objection facility, candidates can review the provisional answers and submit challenges within the specified time period. Eligibility
Candidates who have completed or are appearing in a relevant Master’s degree with at least 55% marks may be eligible for UGC NET, subject to the prescribed conditions. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible for the applicable relaxation in marks as per NTA rules. Candidates holding a four-year Bachelor’s degree may also be eligible under the applicable UGC NET provisions.
