The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the CSIR UGC NET June Examination 2026 for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor opportunities in the relevant subjects. The examination was held on 17–18 July 2026, and the answer key is scheduled to be released online through the official NTA CSIR UGC NET portal. After its release, candidates can access the answer key and response details by logging in with their registration credentials. The answer key allows candidates to match their attempted answers with the official answers and calculate an approximate score before the result is announced. Eligibility
Candidates having an M.Sc. or equivalent qualification with the prescribed percentage of marks are eligible as per the CSIR UGC NET requirements. Candidates with relevant qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, B.Pharm, MBBS or integrated courses may also be eligible for specific subjects as per the official notification. For JRF, the applicable age limit is up to 30 years, while there is no upper age limit for the NET/Assistant Professor category, subject to applicable rules and relaxations.
