Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released the RRB ALP Exam Date 2026 for the Assistant Loco Pilot recruitment under CEN 01/2026. The RRB ALP CBT-1 examination is scheduled to be conducted from 03 November to 05 November 2026. Candidates who successfully submitted their applications can check the examination schedule and prepare for the first stage of the recruitment process. The RRB ALP recruitment is being conducted for 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot vacancies across Indian Railways. The online application process was conducted from 15 May 2026 to 14 June 2026. The application fee payment window closed on 16 June 2026, followed by the application modification period from 17 June to 26 June 2026. The RRB ALP CBT-1 is the first computer-based examination in the selection process. Candidates will be required to check their individual exam date, exam city, shift and reporting details through the RRB Exam City & Date Intimation facility. Check your individual exam date, city and shift. Download or save the exam city/date information for future reference. How To Download RRB ALP Admit Card 2026: The RRB ALP Admit Card/E-Call Letter will be made available approximately 4 days before the candidate's scheduled examination date. Visit the official website of your respective RRB. Open the CEN 01/2026 Assistant Loco Pilot section. Click on the RRB ALP E-Call Letter / Admit Card link. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password or other login details as required. Enter the captcha/security code. Submit the login details. Your RRB ALP CBT-1 Admit Card 2026 will appear on the screen. Check your name, photograph, exam date, shift, reporting time and examination centre. Download the admit card. Take a clear printout and carry it to the examination centre along with the required original photo identity proof.
Eligibility
Post: Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Educational Qualification: Option 1: Matriculation/SSLC + ITI from a recognized NCVT/SCVT institution in one of the eligible trades. Option 2: Matriculation/SSLC + prescribed Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in an eligible trade. Option 3: Three-year Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile Engineering or an eligible combination of these engineering disciplines from a recognized institution. Option 4: Engineering Degree in the prescribed disciplines may be accepted in place of the Diploma as specified in CEN 01/2026. Age Limit: 18–30 Years as on 01/07/2026. Age relaxation is applicable to eligible candidates as per Railway Recruitment Board rules.
