The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a NEET PG 2026 re-examination for candidates whose examination could not be completed at two test centres in Jaipur, Rajasthan, due to an internal power supply disruption. The NEET PG Re-Exam 2026 will be conducted on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Jaipur. A total of 2,445 candidates affected by the disruption at the iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura centres (Test Centre Nos. 41682 and 41683) will be allowed to appear in the re-examination. NBEMS has stated that the venue details and other examination instructions will be communicated separately to the affected candidates. Revised admit cards will also be issued to the concerned candidates. The regular NEET PG 2026 examination was conducted nationwide on August 30, 2026, with 2,73,096 candidates scheduled across 1,111 examination centres in 339 cities. Around 2,65,980 candidates appeared, and approximately 2,63,535 candidates successfully completed the examination. Why Was the NEET PG Re-Exam Announced? The NEET PG examination was conducted across India on August 30. However, an internal power supply issue at two iON Digital Zone centres in Jaipur's Sitapura area prevented 2,445 candidates from completing the examination. To provide affected candidates with a fair opportunity to appear for the examination, NBEMS announced a separate re-examination on September 5, 2026 The affected centres are: iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur Test Centre No. 41682 Test Centre No. 41683 The re-examination applies to the candidates affected at these centres and is not a nationwide re-examination for all NEET PG candidates How to Check NEET PG Re-Exam Details 2026 Candidates affected by the Jaipur centre disruption should follow these steps: 1. Visit the official NBEMS NEET PG website. 2. Open the latest NEET PG 2026 notice. 3. Check the instructions regarding the re-examination. 4. Log in to the candidate portal when the revised admit card is released. 5. Download the NEET PG Revised Admit Card 2026. 6. Check the examination centre and reporting instructions. 7. Carry the required documents to the re-examination centre.
Eligibility
1. The re-examination is only for the 2,445 candidates affected by the examination disruption at the two designated Jaipur centres. 2. Eligible candidates are those who were scheduled to appear at iON Digital Zone iDZ Sitapura, Jaipur (Centre Nos. 41682 and 41683) and could not complete the NEET PG 2026 examination. 3. No fresh application is required for the re-examination unless NBEMS specifically announces otherwise. 4. Candidates should follow the revised admit card and instructions issued by NBEMS for the re-examination.
