Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test JHTET Admit Card 2026: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi has announced the JHTET Admit Card 2026 release date for candidates appearing in the Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026. As per the latest available examination schedule, the JHTET Admit Card is scheduled to be available online from 15 October 2026. The Jharkhand TET 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on 01 November 2026. Jharkhand TET, also known as JHTET or JTET, is conducted for candidates seeking eligibility to teach at the Primary Level (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Level (Classes 6 to 8) in Jharkhand. The examination will be conducted in offline written mode at designated examination centres. JHTET Exam 2026 is scheduled in two shifts. The Upper Primary examination for Classes 6 to 8 is scheduled from 09:30 AM to 12:00 Noon, while the Primary Level examination for Classes 1 to 5 is scheduled from 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM. Candidates should verify their exact paper, examination centre, reporting time and other instructions from the admit card after downloading it. Eligibility
JHTET Primary Level – Classes 1 to 5: Candidates may be eligible through the prescribed teacher-training qualifications such as 10+2 / Senior Secondary with the required percentage along with D.El.Ed / B.T.C. or other recognized elementary education qualifications. Other prescribed routes include 10+2 with the required marks along with B.El.Ed, Diploma in Education (Special Education), or a Bachelor's Degree with the required elementary education qualification, as applicable under the official notification. JHTET Upper Primary Level – Classes 6 to 8: Candidates may be eligible with a Bachelor's Degree along with D.El.Ed / B.T.C. or a Bachelor's Degree with the prescribed percentage along with B.Ed / L.T. / Shiksha Shastri. Other recognized routes include 10+2 with the prescribed marks along with B.El.Ed or a 4-year integrated teacher-education programme. Candidates holding a Master's Degree with the prescribed marks and an integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. qualification may also be eligible as per the applicable rules.
