Description

Eligibility

CTET PAPER-I Candidates seeking eligibility for Classes I to V must fulfil one of the educational qualification combinations prescribed by CTET/NCTE. Common qualifying routes include: Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing Diploma in Elementary Education. Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education. Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage and an applicable Diploma in Education (Special Education). Graduation with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing B.Ed. qualification, wherever applicable. Other qualification combinations recognized under the applicable CTET/NCTE rules. CTET PAPER-II Candidates seeking eligibility for Classes VI to VIII may qualify through: Graduation with a passed/appearing Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing B.Ed. Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing four-year B.El.Ed. Senior Secondary with the prescribed percentage and a passed/appearing four-year integrated B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or equivalent approved programme. Graduation with the prescribed percentage and B.Ed. Special Education. Other teacher-education qualifications recognized under the applicable rules.
